Avram Miller
Avram Miller is a successful business strategist, venture capitalist, scientist, technologist, and author. He is best known for his work at Intel, where he served as corporate vice president of business development. There, he co-founded Intel Capital, one of the world's leading Corporate Venture groups, and led Intel's successful initiative to create residential broadband.
After leaving Intel, Miller founded the Avram Miller Company, providing strategic advice to technology companies worldwide. Forbes Magazine has listed him as one of the 100 most successful technology investors.
Before his career in high tech, Miller had an extensive career in medical science. He co-founded the Thoraxcenter, Erasmus University Rotterdam, a prominent cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine center. Presently, he is combining his expertise in technology with his interest in health care, including advising and investing in early-stage medical technology companies and advising medical institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic and Sheba Hospital.
His book, The Flight of a Wild Duck, chronicles his journey in medical science and the high-tech industry and was published in 2021. He is a frequent guest on podcasts.
