The Conference

The 3rd Sheba Longevity Conference will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, healthcare leaders, and industry innovators from Israel and around the world to explore the future of evidence-based longevity medicine.
Building on Sheba's clinical and research experience, the 2027 conference will focus on translating advances in aging science into approaches that preserve health and extend healthspan. Discussions will span biological aging, precision prevention, longevity pharmacology, emerging interventions, medical technologies, and the clinical evidence needed to guide their use.
The conference will also examine how longevity medicine can become part of everyday healthcare, from specialized centers to health maintenance organizations (HMOs), community services, and population-level prevention. By connecting scientific discovery, clinical practice, and healthcare delivery, it will provide a forum for collaboration and the development of practical, scalable models of care.

Our Goals

  • Advance evidence-based longevity medicine by connecting scientific discovery with clinical validation, measurable outcomes, and real-world practice.
  • Showcase advances in aging research and clinical care, including biomarkers, preventive interventions, longevity therapeutics, medical technologies, and findings from Sheba and international research programs.
  • Explore implementation across healthcare settings, from specialized longevity centers to HMOs and community-based care.
  • Connect medicine, research, and industry to support the development, evaluation, and adoption of innovative healthcare solutions.
  • Strengthen international and regional collaborations that advance healthy longevity and quality of life across populations

The Sheba Longevity Center

The Sheba Longevity Center is the world’s first dedicated longevity medicine center within a public academic hospital, integrating clinical care, scientific research, and medical innovation in an academic medical setting.

Led by Prof. Tzipi Strauss, Director, and Dr. Abigail Goshen, Scientific Director, the Center advances the clinical and scientific foundations of longevity medicine through personalized, evidence-based approaches to preserving physical, cognitive, and mental function.

Its research spans longitudinal cohorts, clinical intervention trials, international clinical studies evaluating medical devices and emerging technologies, and innovative analyses of large-scale health data. Working with academic, clinical, and industry partners worldwide, the Center develops and evaluates approaches to measuring aging, identifying early functional changes, and translating research into preventive care.

Previous Conferences

The Sheba Longevity Conference is held annually at Sheba Medical Center. The 2025 and 2026 conferences brought together international and Israeli leaders in longevity science, clinical medicine, health systems, and industry, and established the conference as a meeting point for evidence-based longevity medicine in the region.

    Day 1 - May 5, 2027

Longevity Medicine: Science, Evidence & Clinical Translation

Day 1 will explore the scientific and clinical foundations of longevity medicine, bringing together international and local experts to discuss biological aging, precision prevention, translational geroscience, and emerging interventions.
Sessions will examine advances in biomarkers and comprehensive clinical assessment, alongside findings from Sheba's longitudinal research and clinical programs. Discussions will address the evidence, validation, clinical standards, and professional education needed to translate these advances into meaningful patient care.
A dedicated session will address longevity pharmacology, including first-in-class therapeutics, repurposed drugs, and the design of clinical trials for aging-related indications, bringing together academic and industry perspectives.

    Day 2 - May 6, 2027

Innovation, Implementation & the Future of Longevity Healthcare

Day 2 will focus on integrating longevity medicine into healthcare systems, community care, and prevention across the life course. Sessions will explore women's and men's longevity, clinical applications in metabolic, cognitive, and musculoskeletal health, AI and emerging medical technologies, and digital health.
A central session will feature Israel's four health maintenance organizations presenting their models for delivering longevity medicine in the community, followed by a moderated discussion on scaling from specialized clinics to population-level care.
A dedicated innovation track will bring together clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and technology leaders to examine new technologies and opportunities for collaboration. The emphasis will be on developing and evaluating solutions that can move from research and early adoption to broader healthcare delivery.

Across both days, the conference will offer opportunities to exchange knowledge, present research through the poster session, build partnerships, and contribute to the future of evidence-based longevity healthcare.
