Professor Tzipi Strauss, MD, MPH

Founder and Head of the Longevity Center

Professor Strauss is a physician-scientist, pediatrician, and neonatologist, and a leading voice in the emerging field of longevity medicine. She is the Founder and Director of the Sheba Longevity Center—one of the first academic longevity centers embedded within a public healthcare system.

She earned her medical degree from the "TTechnion” Rappaport Faculty of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a Professor at Tel Aviv University.

For over 15 years, Professor Strauss served as Director of Neonatology at Sheba Medical Center, one of the world’s leading academic medical centers. Her clinical and research work has focused on early-life determinants of health and the developmental origins of lifelong resilience.

Today, she leads a pioneering effort to integrate longevity medicine into mainstream healthcare, advancing a life-course approach,from early development to advanced age. Her work combines clinical innovation, research, and policy, aiming to transform longevity from a privilege into a scalable, evidence-based public health model.
